Appointment times are reserved for your exclusive use and it is your responsibility to provide us with at least 24-hours notice of cancellation. This allows time to offer the appointment time to another patient. Appointments may be cancelled by phone by calling 576-3360. If you call this number, but do not reach the receptionist, you need to leave a message. The system records the date and time of the call.
If the required notice is not given there will be a charge of $100 (2/3 the normal session fee) for the missed appointment, Receipts for missed appointments say "Missed Appointment" as it would be fraudulent to insurers to indicate otherwise. When you initiate treatment, you will be asked to provide a credit card number and signed authorization to bill your card in the event of a No Show or Late Cancellation. If you decide to not provide this information to secure your future appointments and fail to attend a scheduled appointment, you will be contacted after the missed appointment and asked to settle the outstanding bill immediately. No future appointments can be held or made until your outstanding account has been settled.
In the event that you are unable to come to an appointment in person and there is insufficient time to reschedule, having a phone session during the appointment time is an option.
SPECIAL CANCELLATION POLICIES FOR SATURDAY APPOINTMENTS. Saturday appointments are in high demand for patients. Consequently, 72 hours notice of a Saturday appointment cancellation is required. Practically, this means notice of the cancellation must be given no later than the close of business on the Wednesday prior to the appointment so that there is sufficient time to offer this time to other patients.
